One to one appointments are available:
Monday, 10am-12pm
Tuesday, 5pm-7pm
Thursday, 5pm-7pm
These are held at Bambino Baby in Petersfield, in person or via video call.
Please note you can come along to the shop any time during shop hours. No appointment is needed – it’s first come, first serve. There is no charge for coming in for babywearing help and advice during shop hours and this is what the majority of people choose to do.
I offer the following services outside of shop hours (click on the links for more details, or just scroll through the page to read them all):
- 30 Minute video-call Appointment
- 1.5 Hour, One-to-one in-depth Baby-Carrying Consultation
- 1 Hour, One-to-one short Baby-Carrying Consultation

30 minute video-call Appointment
30 minute appointments are only available for video call. For a short appointment, in-person, please visit the shop any time during shop hours. No appointment needed – come along any time!
30-minute video-call appointments are ideal if you want a bit of help with an aspect of your carrier (e.g. getting your ring sling comfortable or tightening your stretchy wrap).
Online appointments can be used for help with an existing carrier, or for people who aren’t in the area but would like to see a couple of appropriate options before hiring (although, in that situation, you may benefit from a longer appointment, depending on how many options you’d like to look at). A follow-up online Consultation can be booked for during a hire/after a purchase, if required.
For video-calls payment is required at the time of booking, in order to secure the appointment (this payment is non-refundable and non-transferrable). If longer is needed, this will be billed as per the rates above.
One-to-one 30 minute appointments are only available Tuesday 5pm-5.30pm and Thursday 5pm-5.30pm
1.5 hour Appointment
One-to-One Baby Carrying Consultation
Held at Bambino Baby, for you, plus your partner if they would like to attend.
Consultations can be booked during pregnancy or when you already have a child/children.
The Consultation will be directly tailored to your requirements, but all will include:
- An explanation and demonstration of the different slings and baby carriers most appropriate to your requirements, including details about the ergonomics and benefits of babywearing
- Information about safe babywearing for you and your child
- Answering any questions you have about babywearing
- Time for you to try slings and baby carriers you are interested in (with the Sling Library demonstration doll and/or with your own child) with help and advice on how to get the most from each carrier
- If you already have carriers you’d like help with feel free to bring them along; I’m very happy to help with existing carriers
If you have a friend who would like to attend as well, this may be possible, please get in touch to discuss. Babies need to be of a similar age. There is an additional £5 charge for this.
1 hour Appointment
One-to-One Baby-Carrying Consultation
Held at Bambino Baby, for you, plus your partner if they would like to attend.
These Consultations are designed for existing Babywearers looking to acquire a new skill / try a different type of carrier (e.g. starting back carries with your existing carrier, moving on from a stretchy wrap), or for people with a fairly clear idea of exactly what they’re looking for, who would like help with babywearing safely and comfortably
The Consultations will be directly tailored to your requirements, but will include:
- An explanation and demonstration of the different slings and baby carriers most appropriate to your requirements, including details about the ergonomics and benefits of babywearing
- Information about safe babywearing for you and your child
- Answering any questions you have about babywearing
- Time for you to try slings and baby carriers you are interested in (with the Sling Library demonstration doll and/or with your own child) with help and advice on how to get the most from each carrier
- If you already have carriers you’d like help with feel free to bring them along; I’m very happy to help with existing carriers
